c'est la Côte d'Azur

My dearest friend of 22 years Harriet was living in the Côte d'Azur last year, so in May I went on a little holiday to see her-

Thoroughly enjoyable- with many hours lazing on the beautiful beach in Toulon and copious large glasses on vin blanc and fine dinning....beautiful.

Taken when my friend Megan came to visit.

This market was just round the corner from we're I worked on Mäster Samuelsgatan

The men stood at the stools through as low as -15°c. everyday.

I like the bottom photo-Megan's head's sat perfectly on the table...!

I lived in Scandinavia for almost four months.

The city of Stockholm boast beautiful nature right in the city. 

Djurgården is a very beautiful island, a very short walk, over a very short bridge. 

a wonderful writer

My favourite childhood author Dick King-Smith passed away on January 4th 2011 aged 88.

These are two photographs I took, when filled with joy, at the age of 10, I met this wonderful writer.

This is from my first ever roll of film, in my first ever camera, which was a birthday present from my beautiful grandmother, Mama.

The film ran out before I managed to photograph his face.
